Meeting and pickup
Please wait at the reception of Nyvågar Rorbuhotell, Storvåganveien 26, 8310 Kabelvåg. Your guide will meet you there and accompany you to the boat at the small pier just outside Restaurant Nyvågar. Free parking is available at Nyvågar for all guests joining the tour.
What to expect
The trip is tailored to your interests, experience level and the conditions of the day. Whether you want a relaxed introduction to fishing, focus on specific species such as cod or halibut, or combine fishing with crab fishing, your guide will help create the experience you're looking for.
We visit carefully selected fishing grounds based on weather, season and local conditions. Along the way, you'll enjoy spectacular views of Lofoten’s mountains, coastline and fishing villages from the water.
Your guide will provide all necessary equipment and assistance throughout the trip, making the experience suitable for both beginners and experienced anglers.
Keep an eye out for white tailed sea eagles and other wildlife as you spend time on some of Northern Norway’s richest fishing grounds.
After the trip, you can take your catch home or choose to have it prepared as a multi-course dinner at Restaurant Nyvågar for a true sea-to-table experience.
