What to expect

Embark on a captivating one-day journey to the Mutianyu Great Wall, one of China’s most picturesque and less-crowded sections of this UNESCO World Heritage Site! Meet at 8:50 AM at Dongzhimen Transport Hub (1st Floor Hall) for boarding. At 9:10 AM, we depart for a 90-minute scenic drive, with a quick stop at Shaoyaoju Metro Station (Exit E) for pickups. Arrive around 11:00 AM and enjoy 5 hours to explore Mutianyu’s ancient watchtowers, sweeping mountain views, and well-preserved stone paths. Wander the ramparts, snap iconic photos, or take an optional cable car for a breathtaking perspective. Return between 1:00 PM and 4:00 PM via flexible shuttle, stopping near the Bird’s Nest and Water Cube (Minzuyuan Road) around 4:10 PM, then Qianmen by 4:40 PM.
