Booking for 4 or 5? Online booking is capped at 3 (our dojo is a small traditional room), but we can host 4–5 in one 90-minute session with two rotating teams. Message us, or book two reservations for the same date and we'll combine them.

What's Included
Meeting and pickup
Kōraichō area, central Kagoshima City — about a 10-minute walk from the Tenmonkan shopping district. The exact address, building details, and directions will be sent to you in your booking confirmation message after your reservation is complete. Cruise passengers: taxi with name board at the pier.
What to expect
— Meet Your Sensei —
Hirokazu Inada is a national champion who won the All-Japan tournament in 6th grade, the first ever from his Kagoshima dojo. This is not a tourist show: real karate, taught by a champion, in an authentic home dojo.
— What to Expect (about 60 min) —
1. Welcome (5 min): learn "rei", the soul of karate.
2. Change into a dogi (5 min): feel how you stand once the obi is tied.
3. Kihon (15 min): the basic stances and strikes of Renshinkan.
4. A simple kata (15 min): move like a samurai.
5. Board breaking (15 min): the unforgettable moment, captured on camera.
6. Certificate & Kagoshima green tea (5 min).
— Cruise Passengers Welcome —
Arriving at Marine Port Kagoshima? Our dojo is about 20 min from the pier by taxi. We arrange a local taxi to meet you at the terminal with a name board, at no charge; you pay the driver directly (about JPY 2,700 one way, cards accepted). Start times follow your ship's schedule so you are back well before all-aboard. If the port call is cancelled, contact us and we will work with Viator to cancel without charge.
