If you're travelling by yourself or with friends or with your family and children and you want to take some time to relax making some DYI experience, well this workshop is just an immersion into alternative photography process. The magic of cyanotype photo printing.

It's really an immersion into a poetic world to recall some precious moments from your vacations, family or friends.

The workshop takes place in the emblematic project "Les Arches Citoyennes" a building occupied by artists, artisans and associations just in front Hotel de Ville.

There is a big blue front door, once you get in you have to go to the elevator to your right and the workshop take place at the 5th floor. The door's code will be sent after the reservation.

What to expect

Immerse yourself in the poetic world of cyanotype and create a unique work of art!
During this session, you will start discover this ancient technique.

The first exercise will be by using plants and you will create your own composition on already emulsified paper. Then your creation will be placed under a UV lamp for 15 minutes to reveal their magic.

Secondly, as the first creations are being solarized, you will choose 3 different photography on your own and we will create on photoshop the negative and print it out. Then the photos will be placed under UV lamps.

Once your prints are dry, you will have the opportunity to enhance your images with touches of watercolor or water-based paint, adding your personal touch to this luminous work of art.

Finally, you will leave with your own cyanotype print, ready to be framed or given as a souvenir of this special moment!

Note: For this workshop, children under 12 must be accompanied.
