Step into the quiet elegance of Tamazato Garden, one of Kagoshima's hidden gems, for a soothing crystal singing bowl sound meditation. Surrounded by centuries of history and stillness, let the resonant tones wash over you in a moment of true Japanese tranquility. Your guide will set an unhurried pace throughout, with plenty of time for photos along the way. A visit to Kagoshima Shrine is also included, adding a touch of spiritual culture to your experience. Please meet us directly at Tamazato Garden. Transportation to and from the meeting point is not included, but we are happy to help arrange a taxi in advance if needed. Taxi fare is paid separately, directly to the driver.

1Tamazato House Gardens of Shimazu
Meet your guide at the garden gate for a brief orientation and overview of the day's schedule. From here, you'll walk to the first shrine. ※If arriving by rental car, free parking is available just across the crosswalk directly in front of the gate. Please park within the marked white lines.

2Kagoshima Shrine
After the orientation, you'll walk together with your guide to Kagoshima Shrine, just a 5-minute walk away. Your guide will explain proper shrine etiquette and share the highlights and history of the shrine.

3Tamazato House Gardens of Shimazu
Return to the garden and enjoy a 15-minute stroll with your guide, who will point out the garden's highlights along the way, including a small bamboo grove. There are great photo spots too, and your guide is happy to take photos for you.

4Tamazato House Gardens of Shimazu
Enter the historic teahouse with your guide, who will share a little about the room's history and setting. You'll lie down on the tatami mats (or sit, if you prefer) as your guide plays crystal singing bowls, koshi chimes, and tuning forks, filling the space with soothing sound for a peaceful, mindful experience. Your guide will gently close the session with a few closing words, and the tour concludes in the garden.
