We’ll cover about 450 feet of elevation gain over gradual hills at a moderate pace with lots of opportunities for photos. Good walking shoes and layers are all you'll need.
Meet on the edge of the bike/walking path and the grassy area of Little Marina Green. The 30-Stockton bus drops visitors directly at Little Marina Green (stop at Mason St & Yacht Rd/Crissy East Beach) in the vicinity of the Palace of Fine Arts.
We will be ending in the Inner Richmond neighborhood where there are several food and drink options for after the tour. There is easy access to the 1-California bus to Nob Hill, 38-Geary bus to Union Square, or 28-19th Avenue bus to Fisherman's Wharf.
We won't go onto the Golden Gate Bridge, but will pause for photos at some of the best viewpoints of it in the city.
We'll walk through the main promenade of the Palace of Fine Arts with plenty of time for photos.
We'll explore the sidewalks and side trails of the Presidio with several viewpoints and a nice mix of city and nature.
See the famous Yoda fountain as we pass by on our way from the Palace of Fine Arts to Tunnel Top park with time for photos.
We'll explore a good portion of Tunnel Tops Park and pause at some amazing viewpoints for photos. There are also restrooms available at this location.
