Meeting and pickup
Pickup is available from any hotel or location in San José, Heredia, and Alajuela within the Greater Metropolitan Area (GAM). Please provide the exact address and name of your accommodation when booking. If you’re staying outside of these areas, we’ll coordinate a central meeting point that’s easy to access. Pickup times may vary depending on your location, but typically occur between 5:45 a.m. and 6:15 a.m. Please be ready at least 10 minutes before your scheduled pickup time. We will confirm the exact pickup time and details via WhatsApp or email the day before your tour.

1Poas Volcano National Park
Upon arrival at Poás Volcano National Park, your private guide will lead you on a scenic and easy walk (300 meters / 984 feet) through a lush cloud forest trail to the main crater viewpoint. Along the way, you'll learn about the unique volcanic ecosystem, local flora, and the park’s geological history. At the viewpoint, you’ll stand before one of the largest active craters in the world, often steaming with volcanic gases. On the way back, we’ll make a quick stop at the scenic La Paz Waterfall, one of Costa Rica’s most iconic roadside cascades. It’s a short but refreshing stop, perfect for capturing memories and supporting local artisans.
