Traveling on the 7-train through Long Island City in Queens, you’ll witness the ever expanding footprint of urban NYC with state of the art brand new apartments and amazing restaurants. As we embark on the elevated portion of the 7 Train, you’re able to see the city from above and stunning views of the NYC skyline. This portion of the tour offers a look at modern day newly created parts of the city as well as vintage NYC buildings and neighborhoods.
As we travel on the 7 Train through Queens, you’ll experience one of the most culturally diverse areas in the entire world. We’ll travel next to real New Yorkers; feel the energy, the hustle, the culture of the greatest city in on the planet. This part of the tour offers insights into the true cultural diversity of Queens and NYC. Nearly each stop on the train is a unique population as you ‘travel the world’ of diversity and cultures on one train line and see the full force the ever-changing cultural landscape of NYC.
En route on the 7 Train we’ll get up close to USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center; the best tennis facility in America and home to the U.S. Open. You’ll see the Tennis Center in its entirety including Arthur Ashe, Louis Armstrong and Grandstand stadiums. Across the street from the tennis center is Citi Field and home to the New York Mets professional baseball team. And just across from Citi Field is the brand new MLS soccer arena at Etihad Park. A sports lovers dream right before your very eyes!
