You can reach Sant’Agata sui due golfi by bus from Sorrento or the Amalfi Coast, or by taxi. Please contact us at least 24 hours in advance — we’ll be happy to help you plan the easiest way to meet.
What to expect
This workshop takes place in a quiet hilltop garden just a short drive from Sorrento, surrounded by Mediterranean nature. It’s the perfect escape for those seeking a creative, relaxing, and genuine experience.
You'll be welcomed into a blooming garden, surrounded by lemon trees, with a stunning sea view and a romantic vine-covered pergola. Wrapped in the warm atmosphere of a traditional Amalfi Coast home, you’ll discover the ancient art of hand-decorating ceramics — a craft known as maiolica.
In this open-air workshop, you'll learn the basics of glazing and painting, decorating your own ceramic piece inspired by the colors, light, and quiet beauty of this special place — and take it home as a personal keepsake.
During the experience, you’ll also enjoy a few simple local tastes lovingly prepared by mamma Alfonsina.
After the class, your ceramic will be kiln-fired and ready within 24 to 48 hours. You can choose to pick it up, request delivery to your accommodation, or arrange international shipping.
