Come and meet Gijón with us!
We will meet at the chosen time in one of the most emblematic places in Gijón: the Marina. With sailboats from the harbor in the background, we will review the history of this city.
Walking along the pier we will arrive at Revillagigedo Palace. This majestic 18th century palace has a peculiarity. Do you dare to know what it is?
In front we will find the statue of a knight bearing a cross. Can you tell who it is? He is Don Pelayo, the first Asturian king and a figure much loved by the Asturians.
The tour of Gijón will continue in the seaside neighborhood of Cimadevilla, a place that condenses the purest essence of Gijón and we will climb to the top of Cerro de Santa Catalina, where is the sculpture of Eduardo Chillida. Afterwards, we will continue our walk to the coast.
The last stop of the tour will be the elegant Plaza Mayor, the perfect place to say goodbye after two hours discovering the main attractions of Gijón.
