Here we see the Maria Cristina Bridge, the best known bridge in the city. Crossing the Urumea to connect the two parts of San Sebastian, it is named after Queen Marie-Christine of Austria who reigned in Spain at the end of the 19th century and helped to make the reputation of the city of San Sebastian by coming to spend all its summers there.
