You rarely take the time to stare into the night sky. Many of us can’t, as skies are obscured by modern-day, urban, lighting. So let us take you on a journey of wonder, amazement and learning. Let us open the Universe up to you, your family and friends.
Join one of our family friendly tours to hear about the wonders in the night sky learning, the nature of Space and the Universe above you. Learn cool stuff about the concept of space and time that will leave you excited to tell your friends about when you get home! If you are lucky there may be a glimpse of the Aurorae!
On your tours you will also get the chance to use interactive tech to search the sky, take part in hands-on experiments and use some real astronomer equipment to search above you! With stops at three key sites, with important messages about the sky above, you will also have plenty time to quench your curiosity and ask lots of questions. These are all weather tours - even if it's cloudy.
What's Included
Meeting and pickup
The bus pick up point is located outside of the Saltire Building on Castle Terrace. The bus will have our logo on it and our driver will make himself known as a NightSky Wonderer Tour driver.
