Experience the best of Mongolia’s nature, wildlife, and nomadic culture on a 3-day journey from Ulaanbaatar to Khustai and Terelj National Parks.
This tour combines two of Mongolia’s most beautiful national parks with authentic cultural experiences, giving you more than just sightseeing. In Khustai National Park, search for the wild Przewalski’s horses (takhi) roaming freely across the Mongolian steppe. In Terelj National Park, enjoy spectacular mountain scenery, visit the famous Turtle Rock and Aryabal Meditation Temple, and experience traditional Mongolian nomadic life.
You will also have the opportunity to stay in a traditional Mongolian ger, meet a local nomadic family, and experience horseback riding in the beautiful Mongolian countryside.

Day 1: Ulaanbaatar to Khustai National Park to Terelj National Park Begin your adventure with a morning departure from Ulaanbaatar. Arrive at Khustai National Park and visit the park museum for a briefing on the Takhi wild horse reintroduction project. Drive into the park to spot Przewalski’s horses (Takhi), red deer, or foxes. Enjoy a short winter hike (optional) and savor a picnic or hot lunch at the Khustai camp area or a nearby family ger.

2Hustai National Park
Arrive at Khustai National Park and visit the information center. Learn about the history and conservation of the Przewalski’s horse, known locally as takhi. After lunch in wildlife drive through the national park. Search for wild horses and enjoy the beautiful mountain-steppe scenery. The exact wildlife viewing time depends on animal movement and weather. Hiking is inluded this day activitiy

After breacfast drive to Tsonjin boldog about 4 hours, to visit Chingis Khan's complex and to get eagle photos outside of the complex.

4Gorkhi-Terelj National Park
We will be staying in the Terelj National park for the night. We will visit a local herder family and go for a horse ride for about 1 hour.

5Aryabal Meditation Temple
We will hike up the Aryabal Meditation Temple. It is a steep but short hike and we will be rewarded by a stunning view over the national park.

We will stop by the famous Turtle Rock, an impressive rock formation that is shaped like a Turtle. You will be free to explore and walk up the rock and get a better view over the national park
