Your driver-guide will meet you directly at Kigali International Airport (KGL) at the time of your landing. Please look for your guide in the arrivals area, who will be holding a sign with your name or 'Gorilla Hub Safaris' on it. They will also be easily identifiable and will have confirmation of your booking.

Ascend to adventure on Nyungwe's iconic Canopy Walk! Suspended 50 meters above the ancient forest floor on a thrilling 200-meter-long bridge, you'll gain an exhilarating bird's-eye perspective, spotting vibrant birds and agile primates flitting through the treetops, all while immersed in the breathtaking beauty of Rwanda's only forest National Park.
Wake up early for breakfast at the lodge and prepare for a long day of activities. The driver will take you for the briefing, which starts at Uwinka. After the briefing, park officials will assign you one of the trails depending on the number of participants. Each group will be driven to the starting point of the trek. During chimpanzee tracking, expect to spot 12 smaller species of primate, including Hamlyn’s Monkeys, owl-faced monkey, Dent’s Mona Monkeys, Angola Colobus, Silver monkeys, Olive Baboons, Red-tailed Monkeys, grey-cheeked Mangabeys, vervet monkeys, and l’hoest’s monkeys. Nyungwe forest is every birder’s dream destination with a medley of colorful bird species like the Rwenzori Turaco, great blue Turaco, paradise flycatcher, and forest hornbills among others. Throughout the activity, the park guides will share information about each of the species encountered – their behavior, feeding, and reproductive habits. After spotting the chimps, you will go for lunch.
