Take a husky with you on a nature walk through Lapland's pristine forests. Breathe in the fresh air and immerse yourself in the stunning natural surroundings. Learn about the lives and training of these amazing animals. Hike alongside your husky and guide, who will share fascinating stories about the dogs' seasonal rhythms, their important work during winter, and the intensive training they undergo to become the energetic sled dogs we know and love. Get to know the hardworking dogs in a relaxed, friendly setting and see them in action outside of their winter work. At the kennel, you may meet adorable husky puppies. If you're lucky, you’ll be able to cuddle with them, adding an extra layer of charm to this already memorable experience. This program is designed for families and individuals of all ages, with a minimum age of 8 years old to ensure the experience is enjoyable and safe for everyone. This nature walk will leave you with unforgettable memories of Lapland’s beauty.

The address of our farm is Muoniontie 955, 99130 Sirkka. We are located about 10 km along the road 79 towards Muonio from center of Levi. At crossing to the left side of the road you will see our sign Polar Lights Tours. Drive to the parking lot and wait for your guide there.

What to expect

For a fun way to enjoy the summer and fall days, take a husky with you on a forest hike to enjoy the fresh air and nature. During the hike, the guide will talk about the huskies' lives, their yearly rhythms, and training. Hiking with a dog is a great way to get to know the energetic worker of winter! Our kennel may also have puppies that you can pet.
