The nearest London Underground (Metro) Station is West Brompton which serves both the District Line (Green) and Mildmay Line (Light Blue). It is a 6-minute walk from the station to our Meeting Point. You will find our minibus waiting near one of the bus stands.
Your day begins in Stratford-upon-Avon, where you’ll stroll the graceful riverside paths along the River Avon, perhaps enjoy a punt or boat ride, and visit the birthplace of William Shakespeare surrounded by Tudor architecture. The town’s lively theatre atmosphere, independent shops and riverside cafés set a wonderful tone for the day.
Then you travel to the scenic village of Bourton-on-the-Water, sometimes called the “Venice of the Cotswolds.” Here, you can wander over stone bridges, linger by the gently flowing River Windrush, explore birdlife and riverside gardens or visit the quirky Cotswold Motoring Museum. A relaxed village ambiance invites you to slow down and savour the moment.
Finally Oxford, home to the world-famous University of Oxford. Choose from punting on the River Cherwell, walking through the “Backs” of the colleges, visiting the Radcliffe Camera and Bodleian Library, or simply soaking up the student town atmosphere. The mix of ancient halls and leafy quads allows you to experience intellectual heritage and modern city vibrancy side by side.
