What to expect
Join me, Alessandro Boscolo, Murano glass artist, for an exclusive experience in the heart of the island symbol of artistic glass. My family pioneered the technique of torchblowing (light processing) and I bring with me over 20 years of experience, gained in the workshop and refined with personal research.
In this 1h30 interactive workshop, you will have a rare opportunity to get a close DA look at my personal technique and try to manipulate glowing glass firsthand. I will guide you step by step in handling living matter, showing you how a glass wire turns into an object, through gesture, precision and creativity.
You can blow, shape and play with glass, in a safe and stimulating environment, where every step of the process will be explained and shared. It is not just a demonstration: it is an immersive and participatory experience, which will allow you to really get in touch with the soul of Murano glass.
