Mt. Kawanori is a typical peak of Okutama region, with well-maintained trails, lush gorges, broadleaf forests, and carefully planted Satoyama hillsides. It offers a strenuous hiking experience for full-one-day from Tokyo city center.
On the way to the peak, we will go through Kawanori Gorge and Hyakuhiro Falls as one of the biggest waterfalls in Tokyo.
