What to expect

Create Your One-and-Only Sofubi Figure in Tokyo

Sofubi (soft vinyl figures) are a beloved part of Japanese subculture.

Usually made by skilled artisans through steps like molding and painting, it's rare for the public to try the process themselves.

At UCHOTEN FACTORY, a sofubi workshop in Tokyo, you can enjoy this unique hands-on experience—create your own sofubi figure in about 4 hours and take it home the same day.

Using the mold of our original character “Bunshin-chan,” you'll go through:
Design → Molding → Painting → Packaging — all by hand.

The session also includes a brief intro to the history and making of sofubi, adding context and fun.

No experience? No problem! Our artisans will guide you every step of the way.

Your finished work will be a truly one-of-a-kind “mini-you.”

Experience Japanese craftsmanship and creativity firsthand—
A memorable, only-in-Tokyo adventure awaits!
