Great spot for birding in wide and shady trails is good for spotting Squirrel Cuckoo , Cinnamon Hummingbird, Ferruginous Pygmy-Owl, Lesson's Motmot, White-throated Magpie-Jay, Rufous-backed Wren and some park specialties Chestnut-capped Warbler, White-bellied Chachalaca,Bar-winged Oriole, Pacific Parakeet, country national bird Turquoise-browed Motmot can also be observed Trail description: mainly flat with few short sections have minimun level on incline and lossen rocks, shady and pleasant temperatur, distance in and out is 2.25 kkms ( 1.39 miles )

2Parque Nacional El Boqueron
Jawdroping views of San Salvador volcano main crater, flowers, good park infraestructure like trails, viewpoints and local cafeteria is at Boquerón is shelter for Brown-backed Solitaire,Rufous-collared Robin, Orange-billed Nightingale-Thrush, Rufous-collared Sparrow, White-naped Brushfinch, Cinnamon-bellied Flowerpiercer, White-throated Thrush, Mountain Elaenia they are only some highland species plus Humminbird species that occur in the park are Rufous Sabrewing, Rivoli's Hummingbird, Violet Sabrewing, Mexican Violetear , for some months neotropical migrant species like MacGillivray's Warbler, Townsend's Warbler, Thing to consider Elevation 1,800 meters, 5,905 foot aprox. Weather could change from fresh to chilly and windy with temperatures of 18 and 22 centigrade (64 – 71.6 Fahrenheit) lowest 8 and 12 centigrade (46.4 – 53.6) Distance 1 km (0,62 miles ) trails has different sections flat and with steps all going up, elevation gain is between 25-35 meters ( 82-114 foot)

Important: to get into the library building is not allowed to bring backpacks or big purse, if you are carrying a digital camera must registered to get in and out at reception/front desk
