Discover Beaujolais and its special winter vibe on this half-day tour from Lyon. Guided by a local insider and aboard a vintage Land Rover, this cozy tour takes you straight to what makes this region unique !

We love to share the Beaujolais beyond the obvious ! We will then start the day with a cup of mulled wine while exploring an eclectic and impressive collection of vintage motorcycles at Jacky Grolet house, winemaker and collector.

After this unusual introduction to the region, your Insider will take you to an authentic local wine estate to visit it and taste great Beaujolais wines !

We will end this morning ride with something we love to share with visitors : a traditional mâchon. Wondering what a mâchon is? It’s the winemakers’ convivial way of sharing food — local charcuterie, cheese, and a glass of wine.

The train ride to get to Burgundy departs from the Lyon Part-Dieu train station. We will provide you with tickets, timetable and directions. Meet us at the exit of the train station in Macon Ville, a small station with a single exit and we're easy to spot: just look out for the vintage Land Rover!

    Your morning begins with a cup of mulled wine while exploring an eclectic and impressive collection of vintage motorcycles. Wine and motorcycles may sound like an odd mix, but Jacky Grolet, winemaker and collector, brings them together with infectious energy and passion.

    For the second stop, your guide will take you to visit a Beaujolais wine estate where you'll earn more about wine making and taste great local wines.
