I invite you to discover Girona and Besalú on a full day small group tour, traveling by public transport to live the destinations authentically and sustainably with a local guide.
The experience begins in Girona, with a 2-hour guided tour of its medieval Old Town, where you will explore the Cathedral, Call Jueu, Plaça del Vi, the Basilica of Sant Feliu, the houses of the Onyar River and the Pont de les Peixeteries Velles.
Afterwards, you will travel by public transport to Besalú, one of the most beautiful medieval villages in Girona, where you will travel along its Romanesque bridge, the Jewish quarter and the Plaza de Sant Pere. To complete the experience, you will enjoy a small tasting of artisanal sausages and the famous rataphy, a liquor made with 40 herbs and green nuts.

We start in Girona touring its medieval old town on a 2-hour guided tour. Marvel at the Cathedral, known for its staircase and majestic Gothic nave. Explore the labyrinthine alleyways of Call Jueu, the historic Jewish quarter, and stroll through Plaça del Vi and City Hall. Stop at the Basilica of Sant Feliu and admire the emblematic sculpture of the Cul de la Lleona, symbol of the city. Enjoy the colorful houses of the Onyar River, one of the most photographed corners, and cross the Pont de les Peixeteries Velles, with unique views of the river and its neighboring bridges. Your guide will share stories, curiosities and traditions that bring each street and building to life. Then we transfer by public transport to Besalú, about 55 min drive, arriving at about 12 h.
