Please arrive at 31 Westhaven Drive, Auckland -The Red Boats Departure Point is located on the opposite side of the carpark at the Marina Ramp on the Right Hand Side of the Building. We are The First Red Boat on The Pier. Please Wait for Crew to Come and Collect you at the top of the ramp.

What to expect

After booking, guests receive a confirmation with departure details and meeting instructions. On the day of travel, passengers check in at Westhaven Marina, Auckland, where The Red Boats crew will be clearly identifiable by our branded red vessel and uniforms.

Guests are welcomed onboard and given a short safety briefing before departure. The ferry then departs for Motuihe Island, offering a scenic cruise across the Waitematā Harbour with views of Auckland’s skyline, Rangitoto Island, and surrounding Hauraki Gulf islands.

The journey is a direct ferry service to Motuihe Island, taking approximately 60 minutes. Departing at 8am Upon arrival, passengers disembark at Motuihe Island’s designated landing area, ready to explore the island’s beaches, walking tracks, and historic sites at their own pace.

For return services, guests rejoin the ferry at the scheduled departure of 4:30PM for a relaxed return journey back to Auckland.
