Meeting and pickup
Pick-up is only available from accommodations located within the town of San Pedro de Atacama (pick-ups are not available in ayllus or rural areas). Pick-up takes place between 8:00 and 8:30 hrs. We ask that you be ready in the lobby or outside your accommodation during these hours. The guide will contact you via WhatsApp to confirm the exact pickup time.
Go to the office entrance located at Caracoles 174 - B. We recommend arriving at least 10 minutes early.
The tour ends in Caracoles with Domingo Atienza, just a few meters from the town center. From there, travelers can walk back to their centrally located accommodations or take a taxi if they are staying further away.

We begin the tour with a vehicle ride from San Pedro de Atacama to the Puritama Hot Springs area, where our hike begins. From this point, we will descend along natural trails and moderate slopes through a high plateau canyon offering unique landscapes. The vehicle remains parked at the top while we explore the route to Purilibre on foot, passing through rock formations, native vegetation, and natural viewpoints.
