Ketchikan Wildlife Viewing, Whale Watching and Wilderness Dining

2 hours 30 minutes (approximately)
Offered in: English

Prepare for a true Alaskan immersion that trades the crowded decks of massive cruise ships for the raw, untouched beauty of the deep wilderness. This eco-wildlife excursion is designed to set you apart from the typical tourist path, venturing far beyond standard routes to explore the majestic silence of hidden fjords, secret coves, and the vast marine feeding grounds that define the Great North. Whether you are navigating mirror-still waters with your closest family or witnessing the power of a calving glacier with friends, this journey prioritizes intimacy and ecological respect. By accessing narrow inlets and remote habitats unreachable by larger vessels, you gain a front-row seat to the authentic Alaska—where the spray of the Pacific, the call of the bald eagle, and the breach of a humpback whale create a picturesque landscape that stays with you long after you leave the shore.

Keep an eye out for black bears lumbering through the forest, graceful deer, soaring eagles, and intertidal marvels like starfish and bull kelp. Between breathtaking waterfalls, we’ll anchor in secluded coves for an authentic wilderness picnic of smoked salmon or reindeer sausage, guided by local experts who weave the region’s history and wildlife lore into every moment.
