Mt. Fuji is known as Japan's highest mountain but the lower area is also home to a stunning forest below. Our day starts as a hour and a half hike up a gentle slope bringing us to a quiet and gladed area for lunch.

Enjoy our locally sourced bento and dip into the Japanese art of forest bathing. The activities are fun and relaxed and are more about enjoying the forest and noticing our surroundings.

After our lunch return to the car via a different route. While relatively flat the walk takes us to different areas of the mountain and shows us other areas.

The trip includes a private vehicle, lunch and an Onsen at the end of the day.

    After traveling from your chosen pick up point we will arrive at Mizugatsuka Park. The park has a stunning view of Mt. Fuji and the famous Hoei zan crater stand firmly in the center. This is a great chance to take pictures and prepare for our hike.

    Mt. Fuji 5th Station

    After setting off from Mizugatsuka park we hike into to Fuji forest. Our climb takes around an hour 30 and bring us to a secluded and quiet area with fallen trees covered by moss. The area is famous for it's alpine flowers and stillness. Once here we will enjoy our packed bento boxes and try some fun activities in the forest. Finally we will walk back to the starting spot of our hike. We take a different way down the mountain than we climb up. This allows us to see different aspects of the mountain and enjoy some more scenery.
