This is more than a food tour—it is a personal introduction to Ethiopian food and hospitality with a local guide who knows Addis Ababa. Rather than simply taking you from restaurant to restaurant, I’ll help you understand what you are eating, how Ethiopians traditionally eat and share food, and the stories and customs behind the flavors. You’ll enjoy a variety of Ethiopian dishes, local drinks and coffee while experiencing the food culture of Addis at a relaxed, personal pace. Because this is a private experience, I can also adapt the food choices to your interests and dietary preferences whenever possible.

I offer convenient pickup and drop-off from hotels and accommodations within Addis Ababa.
For travelers arriving at Addis Ababa Bole International Airport, airport pickup can be arranged when the timing allows.
I’ll meet you personally at your hotel lobby or designated pickup point. At the airport, I’ll wait with a sign displaying your name.
