Chocolate & Spices Tour is an engaging, educational experience perfect for all ages, set in a 100% authentic Costa Rican environment. Guests can enjoy hotel pick-up from their chosen location or meet directly at the tour site. During the tour, you will explore traditional spices and plants such as vanilla, cinnamon, black pepper, and many more, learning about their cultivation, processing, and everyday use by local communities. The main highlight is chocolate . You’ll discover how cacao is grown, harvested, and transformed into chocolate, while also learning about the polyculture farming method and its importance for sustainability and biodiversity. To conclude the experience, guests will enjoy a selection of traditional Costa Rican dishes, making this tour a perfect blend of culture, flavor, and local tradition.
