Vilnius, Lithuania

5 hours (approximately)
Offered in: English

Come on a historical and musical bus journey to Trakai, covering Lithuania's rich history of Teutonic Knights, a union with Poland, basketball, the Soviet Union and much more! I want you to understand the key events and periods that have shaped the modern identity of Lithuania, the beloved country I now call home with my wife and son.

On the journey you will drive through the Soviet-era blocks as well as the UNESCO heritage site Old Town of Vilnius.

Whilst in Trakai (2.5-3 hrs) you can come visit a restaurant with me to sample some Lithuanian classics and still make time for the castle after (10€) or feel free to explore the town at your own pace.

On the return we will briefly stop by the Hill of Angels, built in 2009 as a site for promoting devotion and to celebrate the 1000-year anniversary of the first mention of Lithuania.

This is kid friendly, we are only on the bus 1 hour out & 1 hour back. Baby seat required.

Looking forward to hosting you.
