What to expect

You will be met by one of our drivers at the cruise terminal, they will have a sign with the name that you used for reservation. You will then be brought to Volterra, this Etruscan city-state is very famous for it's alabaster extraction and production. In Volterra, one can also appreciate the Etruscan turned Roman amphiteater.
After Volterra, you will head to San Gimignano, passing through the Tuscan countryside that you would see on a postcard. San Gimignano, the Manhattan of the Middle Ages, is a very suggestive town surrounded by walls on a hill; albeit most were destroyed during the Second World War, it gains his epithet due to the copious amount of medieval towers present in town.
Alternatively, you can decide to substitute one of the two towns with a winery visit in the area, the driver will know the best place to bring you.
