Each piece is made from the finest silk, offering a luxurious texture and graceful sheen that no synthetic fabric can match.

The kimono selection, dressing, and simple hairstyling for women take approximately 60 minutes. After that, you are free to explore the garden at your own pace.

Please note that the final kimono return time is 4:00 PM.
To enjoy the garden comfortably, we recommend booking an earlier time slot.

Your journey begins in a traditional tea house located within Shinjuku Gyoen, one of Tokyo’s most beautiful gardens.
With professional dressing service included, even first-time wearers can feel completely at ease.

Once dressed, stroll through the seasonal landscapes—cherry blossoms in spring, vibrant greenery in summer, fiery leaves in autumn, and a serene winter atmosphere.

What's Included

Free time to explore the garden (final kimono return by 4:00 PM).
Full kimono rental, including obi belt, tabi socks, traditional sandals, and a Japanese handbag.
Basic hair styling for women is included. Additional styles are available as paid optional extras.
Reception, kimono selection, professional dressing, and hair styling (women only) take about 1 hour.
The entrance fee to Shinjuku Gyoen is not included and must be purchased separately.
Photography plan not included: A photography option is not currently available.
*The kimono must be returned by 4:00 PM, allowing you ample time to enjoy your experience.
*All guests are required to present a valid passport or government-issued photo ID at check-in.
There is no restroom inside the building. Please use the restroom outside before coming to our shop.

Begin your experience at the historic tea room Rakuu-tei Kouichi Store, located inside the tranquil Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden. Upon arrival, our staff will assist you in selecting your kimono from a range of seasonal designs.

Our professional dressing team will help you put on the kimono, complete with an obi belt, tabi socks, traditional sandals, and a Japanese-style handbag.
The kimono selection, dressing, and simple hairstyling (for women) take approximately 60 minutes, ensuring a smooth and comfortable start, even for first-time wearers.

After dressing, you are free to explore the picturesque garden in your kimono until the final return time.
When finished, please return to Rakuu-tei Kouichi Store for kimono removal.
