Our 10-day tour officially begins on the 3rd of each month and ends on 12th of every month but we recommend international travellers arrive on the 2nd to allow time to rest after their flight. A complimentary night’s stay on the 2nd and airport pickup are included in the package for your comfort and convenience. A short scenic drive takes you to the historic port town of Lyttelton, nestled around a beautiful volcanic harbour. Walk along the waterfront, enjoy the artsy atmosphere, or sip a coffee with harbour views—this coastal gem is full of character and charm.
Your first major stop is the stunning Lake Tekapo, known for its vivid turquoise waters and panoramic mountain backdrop. Visit the iconic Church of the Good Shepherd, one of the most photographed sites in New Zealand. Take a walk along the lake’s edge or simply soak in the tranquil views—this is one of the South Island’s most peaceful spots.

Continue through Lindis Pass, known for its golden tussock landscapes, and pass through Omarama before arriving in Twizel or the Aoraki/Mount Cook Village. Check in to your 4-star accommodation and relax amidst one of New Zealand’s most scenic alpine regions.
If you're up for it, enjoy a walk on the scenic and beginner-friendly Hooker Valley Track — one of New Zealand’s most iconic hikes. This 3-hour return trail takes you across swing bridges and glacial rivers to the stunning Hooker Lake, offering incredible views of Mount Cook along the way.
Visit the Tasman Glacier Lake Lookout, a short and rewarding walk that offers views over New Zealand’s largest glacier and floating icebergs. Optional glacier boat tours or heli-hiking experiences can be added at extra cost.
Your journey begins with a stop at the breathtaking Lake Pukaki, known for its surreal turquoise waters and uninterrupted views of Aoraki / Mount Cook. This is one of the best photo stops on the trip, especially on a clear day.
Break your drive with a relaxing stop in Geraldine, a charming rural town known for its local produce, boutique shops, and cafés. It’s the perfect spot for lunch and a stretch before continuing on.
After breakfast, check out from your hotel and enjoy a comfortable private transfer to Christchurch International Airport as your unforgettable New Zealand adventure comes to an end.
