Unlike crowded surf lessons, our sessions maintain small instructor ratios, allowing for individual guidance, clear feedback, and a more comfortable learning experience in the water.
Our local instructors combine surf coaching with ocean awareness, safety fundamentals, and beginner-friendly techniques to help you build confidence from your first waves.
Each lesson takes place at the best beginner-friendly surf spot for the day (usually Carrizalillo, La Punta, or another beach selected based on wave and safety conditions).
More than a surf lesson, this is an authentic Puerto Escondido surf experience focused on progression, ocean connection, and enjoying the process of learning to surf.

Meeting and pickup
Our school is located right in the heart of the famous "bajada de Las Brisas"; inside Casa Corzo.
What to expect
Your session begins at our surf school with an introduction covering ocean safety, wave awareness, paddling technique, and surf fundamentals. We also guide you through warm-up exercises before entering the water.
We then head to the beach with the best conditions for the day, usually Carrizalillo, La Punta, or another beginner-friendly surf break depending on wave and safety conditions.
Whether you choose a private, semi-private, or group lesson, we maintain small instructor ratios to provide personalized guidance, clear feedback, and a safe learning environment.
In the water, you’ll practice:
- paddling technique
- wave timing
- catching whitewater waves
- standing up safely on your board
Whether it’s your first surf lesson or you want to improve your basics, our goal is to help you build confidence in the ocean while enjoying an authentic surf experience in Puerto Escondido.
By the end of the session, you’ll leave with new surf skills, ocean knowledge, and the unforgettable feeling of riding your first waves.
