What to expect

Skydiving over Rio de Janeiro is a thrilling experience that combines the rush of freefall with breathtaking scenery. After gearing up and a safety briefing, you’ll board a small aircraft and ascend to 10,000 feet. As the plane climbs, iconic views unfold—Christ the Redeemer, Sugarloaf Mountain, Copacabana Beach, and the Tijuca Forest. At jump altitude, you and your instructor leap into freefall, reaching speeds of 230 km/h. The sensation is intense yet surreal, with Rio’s dramatic coastline, mountains, and cityscape spread out below. After about 40 seconds, the parachute opens, and you enjoy a peaceful 5–7 minute canopy ride, taking in 360° views of ocean, rainforest, and urban beauty. The landing is smooth, on the beach, leaving you with an unforgettable mix of adrenaline and awe. Rio’s unique geography and iconic landmarks make this one of the most scenic skydives in the world!
