    Arriving camel ride and overnight

    On Day 1, you’ll arrive in Merzouga in the afternoon. Your luggage will be transferred by 4x4 while you begin a scenic camel trek into the dunes. The ride takes about 1 hour, with a stop to watch the sunset from a high dune. You’ll arrive at the camp before nightfall and be welcomed with mint tea. Settle into your private luxury tent, which includes a comfortable bed and a private bathroom with a hot shower and toilet. In the evening, enjoy a delicious Moroccan dinner—typically tagine, and fresh fruit. Afterward, relax by the campfire with traditional Berber music and stargazing before heading to bed.
