Walk from the Moulin Rouge up through Montmartre’s streets to the Sacré-Cœur hilltop and its wide view over Paris.
You come up the last slope, turn, and Paris is spread out below you. Rooftops, monuments, the whole city at once. That view from the Sacré-Cœur hilltop is where this walk ends - and everything before it builds toward that moment.
The tour starts in front of the Moulin Rouge, at Place Blanche. Your guide points out the red windmill and tells you how this corner became famous for its cabaret nightlife. Note: you see the Moulin Rouge from outside. Show tickets are not part of this tour.
From there, you walk uphill into Montmartre. This was a village on a hill before it was part of Paris, and it still looks like one: narrow streets, old houses, small squares. Your guide shares the stories of the painters and performers who lived and worked here, and shows you where to point your camera.
The walk takes 90 minutes and ends at the top of the hill, near the Sacré-Cœur basilica.
