Starting near the historic main gate, you walk through the castle grounds to see how Osaka Castle was designed as a defensive system rather than a single structure. Your guide explains samurai warfare, how enemy movement was controlled, and why the massive stone walls were central to strategy and symbolism.
Inside the main keep, you will learn about Toyotomi Hideyoshi, key samurai leaders, and the conflicts that decided the castle’s fate. To ensure a smooth start, guests are asked to purchase the admission ticket to the main keep online in advance. Instructions will be provided.

This tour ends at MIRAIZA OSAKA-JO after visiting the interior of Osaka Castle Main Tower. MIRAIZA OSAKA-JO is located within Osaka Castle Park, just next to the main tower. From there, guests can easily access nearby train stations or continue exploring the park on their own.
