    Sumida

We will take you to a sumo stable in Sumida Ward, known as the heart of Tokyo’s sumo culture. At the stable, you'll have the unique opportunity to observe wrestlers’ powerful morning training up close. You’ll also have the chance to step into the ring for a hands-on sumo experience and take part in a Q&A session with the wrestlers. However, please note that these activities may not be available depending on the training schedule or the wrestlers’ condition—especially around tournament periods. A former professional sumo wrestler will accompany the tour, sharing insider stories and firsthand insights from life in the ring. This once-in-a-lifetime experience offers a rare chance to witness authentic sumo, learn about its deep-rooted traditions, and develop a deeper appreciation for Japan’s national sport—through both observation and participation.
