I belong to the family of one of Montmartre's most distinguished personalities, Francisque Poulbot. You will see this name everywhere: street, school, restaurant. Do you know what he did?
Francisque Poulbot was a famous illustrator of the children of Montmartre, to whom he gave his name: the little Poulbots.
He is also responsible for the unique cultural identity of Montmartre.

We will pass by the Moulin Rouge, the Montmartre cemetery, the earthenware of Francisque Poulbot, the Moulin de la Galette, the vineyard, the water tower, the Sacré Coeur. You can continue your visit yourself through Place du Tertre with the painters, and Place des Abesses, with the mulberry of 'I love you'.
This route starts at the bottom of the mound and ends at the top. The distance is about 1.7 km with some elevation gain. No big stairs.
