What's Included
Meeting and pickup
The building is located on West 37th Street, between 8th Avenue and 9th Avenue, in the Garment District. Look for The Arts Building, which is next to the Hilton Garden Inn New York Times Square South. The entrance is a glass door marked '336'.
What to expect
Guided by our skilled artisans, you’ll design and create your very own Turkish mosaic lamp using vibrant glass pieces and beads. No experience is needed—just bring your creativity, and we’ll guide you every step of the way.
As you craft, enjoy complimentary Turkish tea and sweets—a small taste of the culture that inspires our studio.
At the end of the workshop, you’ll take your lamp home along with a grouting kit and easy-to-follow instructions. Grouting is the final step that secures your design and gives your lamp its finished look. It’s simple to complete at home, and we’ll make sure you feel confident doing it.
You’ll not only leave with a beautiful handcrafted lamp, but also lasting memories of a unique cultural experience to cherish long after your visit.
