Ukumehame Beach, a top Maui surf spot at mile marker 12 on Highway 30, offers year-round longboard waves. Park in the small lot or carefully on the ocean side of the road. For lessons, go 200 yards west to the 45 mph sign and meet your instructor by the trees.
