@Soshikan Dojo – Shimo, Kita Ward, Tokyo
Located in Shimo, Kita Ward, Tokyo, Soshikan Dojo is a clean and modern facility that was newly built in July 2023. Incorporating traditional elements such as a kamidana (shrine), the space also offers modern comfort, providing a unique programme where you can experience Japanese karate.
This experience is suitable for beginners, with English-speaking instructor providing detailed guidance on the basics of karate and proper etiquette. The dojo also offers karate uniform rentals and photo sessions, making it ideal for cultural exchange and as a memorable experience.
Additionally, adjacent to the dojo is a traditional standing-style sake bar, where you can relax and enjoy a cold beer after training. This is a unique day in Tokyo's old-fashioned neighbourhood, where you can enjoy both martial arts training and relaxation.
