Learn the traditional art of Japanese calligraphy, called "Shodo" in Tokyo. Under the expert eye of a master calligrapher, you'll practice using the tools of the trade: brushes, ink and paper. Settle into a aquiet studio, where the ambiance encourages a contemplative mindset, and try your hand at writing Japanese characters in an artistic style ouce indispensable to samurai.

What to expect
Join our Japanese calligraphy(Shodō) class and learn the art of brush and ink in relaxed, beginner-friendly setting. English explanations are provided, and no prior experience is necessary. You'll create your own calligraphy piece-writing your name of a meaningful word in Kanji — and take it home as a special souvenir.
