If the meeting point is Paseo de Montejo, the guide will wait for you in front of the restaurant Tropico 56 with a sign with the tour information
The tour will end at the starting point
Our certified guide will be waiting for travelers at 8:00 a.m. at the meeting point located at the finish line of Paseo de Montejo in Merida, or will drop by directly at your hotel if requested. From there, you will accompany the group throughout the tour to Chichen Itza. Upon arrival, you take a guided tour of the main temples and structures of the site, such as the Temple of Kukulkán, the Ball Game, the Temple of Warriors and the Observatory. For about 1 hour with 30 minutes to 2 hours, the guide will explain the history, culture and secrets of this wonder of the Mayan world, with free time to take photos and enjoy the place.
After exploring Chichen Itza, the group will move to Saamal Cenote, a beautiful semi-open cenote surrounded by tropical vegetation. Here, travelers can cool off by swimming in its crystal clear waters and enjoy the natural environment. The guide will provide safety recommendations and will be available during the visit. It gives enough time to swim, relax and take pictures. Dressing rooms, bathrooms and life jackets are also available on site. The stay at the cenote lasts approximately 2 hours.
After the visit to the cenote, the group heads to Valladolid, a charming Magic Town full of colonial history and architecture. During the stop, travelers can stroll through the historic center, admire the Church of San Gervacio, get to know the Francisco Canton Rosado Main Park and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere of this Yucatecan city. There will also be free time to take pictures, sample a typical ice cream or purchase local crafts. The tour lasts approximately 1 hour before returning to Merida.
