Unlike typical Train Street visits, this experience combines Hanoi's famous Southern Train Street with a hands-on Vietnamese coffee workshop in a hidden heritage house. Guests learn to make Egg Coffee, Coconut Coffee, Salted Coffee, and traditional Vietnamese phin coffee before joining a approx 800m guided walk through the historic railway district to experience Train Street from a local perspective. Along the way, discover hidden alleys, local stories, and Hanoi culture in a small-group setting. The guided experience lasts approximately 2 hours. After the activity concludes at the Train Street cafe, guests are welcome to stay as long as they wish to enjoy the unique railway atmosphere, take photos, relax with their coffee, and experience Train Street at their own pace. This activity is perfect for train enthusiasts, coffee lovers, photographers, couples, and travelers looking for a more authentic experience beyond standard sightseeing tours.

Meeting and pickup
Meet your host at a hidden heritage house located in the Quan Su area, near Hoa Lo Prison and Hanoi Railway Station. Look for the entrance to Alley 64B Quan Su. Walk approximately 20 meters into the alley and proceed to the second floor. Your host will be waiting at the meeting point.
What to expect
Your experience begins at Kunian Chill Station, a hidden heritage house in a traditional Hanoi alley near Hoa Lo Prison. Upon arrival, you'll be welcomed by your local host and introduced to the history of the house. Next, dive into the world of Vietnamese coffee. Start by learning how to brew coffee using a traditional Vietnamese phin, then get hands-on as you prepare several of Vietnam's most beloved coffee specialties, including Salted Coffee, Coconut Coffee, Ca Phe Nau and the famous Egg Coffee. You'll also learn simple coffee decoration techniques and create your own beautiful cup.
After the workshop, take your coffee to go and join a guided walk through a lesser-known part of central Hanoi. Along the way, pass the Quan Su Pagoda, International Exhibition Center, discover the area surrounding the Railway Station. Your journey concludes at Southern Train Street, where you'll take a seat at Kunian Train Street Coffee and experience the train passes just meters away.
