Leave the city lights behind and chase the Northern Lights on a small-group road trip from Tromsø. Each evening, we study weather forecasts and aurora activity to choose the best direction — driving into darker, remote Arctic areas where the chances of seeing the aurora borealis are highest.

This is a flexible Northern Lights chase, not a fixed route. We go where conditions are best, stopping at scenic locations along fjords, mountains, and open landscapes. When the lights appear, we take the time to enjoy the moment without rushing or large crowds.

The tour is conducted in a comfortable minivan with a local guide who shares knowledge about the aurora and helps with camera settings. Warm drinks and light snacks are included to keep you comfortable during the Arctic night.

While the Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and can never be guaranteed, the experience, planning, and flexibility are focused on giving you the best possible chance of witnessing this unforgettable display.

Your guide will help you with camera settings, share local knowledge, and make sure everyone has a warm and comfortable experience.
