Your guide will meet you at the entrance of your hotel. Please be ready and wait at the hotel entrance 10 minutes before the scheduled pickup time. The tour will begin once the guide meets you.
Duration: 20–30 minutes Listen to stories about Amir Timur (Tamerlane), his empire, and how he became a national symbol. Take photos with the equestrian statue of Timur and the grand Hotel Uzbekistan in the background. Learn how this square has changed from Tsarist to Soviet to Independent Uzbekistan times.
Duration: 25–30 minutes Walk through the Arch of Independence decorated with storks—symbols of peace. See the Monument to the Independence of Uzbekistan and the Eternal Flame for fallen soldiers. Learn about modern Uzbekistan's independence in 1991 and national pride.
Ride between a few of the city’s most artistic metro stations (e.g., Alisher Navoi, Kosmonavtlar). Learn about the Soviet influence on design and recent modernization. Take impressive underground photos (photography is now allowed!).
Travelers will discover one of Tashkent’s most beautiful modern mosques, often called the White Mosque for its elegant marble exterior. Built in 2014 on the banks of the Ankhor Canal, the mosque reflects a blend of traditional Islamic architecture and modern Uzbek design. Visitors can admire the large turquoise dome, delicate calligraphy, and the spacious courtyard filled with tranquility. Inside, they will step into a bright prayer hall decorated with white marble and traditional ornamental patterns. Your guide will explain the cultural and religious importance of the mosque, as well as how it has quickly become a favorite place for both worship and photography among locals and tourists.
Duration: 30–40 minutes Visit the Barak Khan Madrasa, Tillya Sheikh Mosque, and Muyi Muborak Library. See the Uthman Quran, the world’s oldest known Quran manuscript. Learn about Islamic learning traditions in Central Asia. Explore the peaceful courtyard and take traditional architectural photos.
Duration: 30–40 minutes Wander through colourful stalls of spices, dried fruits, sweets, bread, and crafts. Watch traditional bread-making and interact with friendly local vendors. Taste optional local snacks (at your own expense). Learn how this bazaar has served Tashkent for centuries.
