This preserved home, built in 1820, invites you to walk through a veil of time to explore Charleston in her antebellum days. The house, grounds and dependencies are all included in this tour. One of the more poignant parts of the tour is walking up the well worn steps from the kitchen to the slave quarters. Here, their story seems to come alive.
