What to expect

This Bilingual Tour in English & German is a creative small-group experience (max. 12 guests).

Explore the elegance of Jugendstil on a creative walking tour through Schwabing, Munich’s historic bohemian quarter and the birthplace of German Art Nouveau. Guided by a knowledgeable architect and official tour guide, you’ll discover remarkable façades, floral motifs, and bold design ideas that defined this artistic movement. Along the way, hear fascinating stories about iconic figures such as Wassily Kandinsky and Paul Klee.

We closely observe and frame four outstanding Jugendstil façades to capture their unique details. These visual impressions become the inspiration for our creative finale.

After about one hour of discovery in Schwabing, we travel by subway to a contemporary artistic district on a former castle-yard site. Inside a heated shipping container, you’ll get hands-on with spray painting, creating four postcards using stencils based on the Art Nouveau treasures we explored earlier. Beginner-friendly, relaxed, and fun.

This tour invites art lovers, families, and creative minds to immerse themselves in Munich’s rich artistic heritage.

Best,
Philipp
