Experience a different side of Munich with Philipp, a certified local guide and architect, as he leads you through the city’s vibrant and artistic South.

Explore the cutting-edge theater Münchner Volkstheater, set in the revitalized former cattle-yard district, and immerse yourself in the bold street art scene at Bahnwärter Thiel, a cultural hub made from 40 repurposed shipping containers.

Amidst vibrant artist studios, you'll craft six unique spray-painted postcards using stencils — no experience required, just a sense of curiosity and creativity.

We’ll end at Alte Utting, a wildly original bar set on a ship above the city, praised by The New York Times for its cool, quirky charm.

A perfect blend of architecture, culture, and hands-on art!

What to expect

Discover Munich’s Street Art and Urban Culture on a One-of-a-Kind Guided Tour.

Along the way, you’ll get hands-on and creative by spray-painting six postcards using stencils inspired by the places we explore.

We begin at Piazza Zenetti and dive into the history of the former cattle yard district. From there, we visit the Münchner Volkstheater, where colors, materials, and design take center stage.

Next, we enter the local street art scene at the Beginner’s Wall — a space where Munich’s graffiti culture comes to life.

Our creative highlight takes place at Bahnwärter Thiel, an extraordinary venue built from 40 shipping containers, all decorated with vibrant graffiti. In a private event space on the grounds, you'll spend about an hour creating your own spray-painted postcards in a relaxed, inspiring atmosphere with music and drinks - one drink included.

We wrap up the tour at Alte Utting — a spectacular café and bar on a repurposed ship high above the city. Even The New York Times featured it, asking: “Is Munich getting cool?” YES, it is!

Depending on whether it is open or not, you can enjoy a coffee or snack here, or stroll along the Isar River back toward the city center.
